When a tenant has requested it, landlords and letting agents can charge to vary, assign or replace a tenancy. A payment of £50.00 including VAT would be charged if you want to change/vary the tenancy agreement in any way.
Landlords and letting agents can require a tenant to make a payment for an early termination (surrender) of the tenancy agreement at the tenant’s request. An agreement is made for the tenant to make a payment equal to the WN Lettings Ltd tenant-find fee (3 weeks’ rent plus Vat) pro-rata for the unexpired term of tenancy. Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at a rate of 3% above bank base rate, where the rent falls 14 days past the rent due date. Interest will then accrue at this rent and backdated to when the rent fell into arrears.
Payment for the reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys/security devices at a rate of £10.00 per key and/or a rate covering the total cost of the security device (fob/remote etc) including signed for or recorded postage delivery.
